Ensemble Company Membership Policy
Adopted by the Board on June 26th, 2007
Discussion:
Historically, the general policy towards Winding River Players membership was inclusion for life upon participation in one production. However, with its reorganization in 2001, that generalized policy is seen to be no longer appropriate. As of the reorganization, the Board of Directors became Winding River Players, Inc. All non-Board members became part of the child organization, Winding River Players Ensemble Company. Additionally, IRS requirements contain a more complete accounting of membership and the people we serve.
To that end, a more complete definition of membership and categories of membership is addressed in this policy. It is not the intent of this policy to discriminate on any way. Its purpose is to accurately record the composition of the Winding River Players Ensemble Company, to assess its growth and to recognize the participation of its members.
Definitions:

- Member — For insurance purposes, anyone who is participating in a current WRP Activity, is a member and is covered while performing that activity.
- WRPEC Membership — is predicated on participation and continued participation in a WRP activity or Activities in any capacity. There are no dues or fees associated with membership.

This policy may be amended or revoked at the discretion of the Board of Directors at any time.
